  • Annual eye examinations including dilation to screen for ocular disease

Ocular Disease Treatment

  • Diagnosis & Treatment of ocular disease, infection, and inflammation related to conditions such as glaucoma, viral conjunctivitis (“pink eye”), allergic conjunctivitis, and dry eye syndrome.
  • Annual dilated exams for diabetic and hypertensive patients to rule out retinopathy
  • Evaluation of cataracts and macular degeneration

Foreign Body/Emergency Care

  • Removal of superficial foreign bodies and follow-up care related to ocular injury

Pediatric Eye Care

  • American Optometric Association recommends eye exams at 6 months, 3 years, 5 years, and annually thereafter
  • Management of “lazy eye”/strabismus/amblyopia
  • Screening for tracking disorders & dyslexia
  • Treatment of ocular infections
  • Child friendly exam rooms

Eye Care for the Disabled/Geriatrics

  • Wheelchair accessible equipment/exam rooms
  • Recommend annual dilated exams for patients over 60 years of age to screen for ocular disease

Pre & Post-operative Surgical Care

  • Determination of LASIK candidacy and consultation, Pre and Post-operative surgical care
  • Cataract consultation, Pre and Post-operative cataract surgical care

Special Testing

  • Visual Field (Diagnosis/Screening for glaucoma, optic nerve disease, neurological defects related to headaches, compressive lesions/tumors, aneurysm, visual pathway disorders, and macular abnormalities)
  • Anterior Segment Photography (Photos of conditions of the front of the eye for documentation/patient education)
  • Posterior Segment Photography (Photos of conditions of the back of the eye for documentation/patient education)
  • Optical Coherence Technology (OCT) (Diagnosis/Management of glaucoma, optic nerve disease, macular disease/degeneration, vitreo-retinal and retinal abnormalities (detachments), choroidal abnormalities (nevus, neovascularization), and vascular abnormalities (hypertensive/diabetic retinopathy, vein/artery occlusions, neovascularization).
  • Fundus Photography
  • Auto-refraction/Auto-lensometer
  • Topography (corneal curvature used to diagnose and assess corneal disease and fit specialty contact lenses)
  • Glaucoma/Optic Nerve Disease
  • Neurological Abnormalities (Headaches, Compressive lesions/tumors, Aneurysm, Visual Pathway disorders, etc)
  • Vascular Abnormalities (Hypertensive/Diabetic Retinopathy, Vein/Artery Occlusions, Neovascularization, etc)
  •  Macular Disease (Macular degeneration, edema, etc)

Contact Lens Fitting & Care

  • Daily disposable (throw away daily) and Extended wear options (ability to sleep in contact lenses with prescription of the proper lens material)
  • Toric contact lens fitting (to correct astigmatism)
  • Multifocal  contact lens fitting (enables patient to see distance and near without glasses)
  • Color changing/enhancing contact lens fitting
  • Rigid Gas Permeable (RGP) contact lens fitting (distance, bifocal, multifocal)
  • Specialty Contact Lens Fitting for keratoconus & other irregularly shaped corneas secondary to injury
